Planner data

PortdayGuide does not require an account. Plans saved with the Save button are stored in your browser on that device. Clearing browser storage removes them. Shared-plan links contain the cruise preferences needed to reconstruct the plan; anyone with the link can view those details.

Weather requests

When a port date is within the forecast window, PortdayGuide requests weather for the port’s stored coordinates from MET Norway. The request does not include your name, ship, traveler count, or full itinerary.

What not to enter

Do not enter passport numbers, booking confirmation numbers, payment information, medical records, or other sensitive personal information. Ship names and port dates are optional.

Outbound links

When you follow an external booking link, the destination platform receives information according to its own privacy and cookie policies. PortdayGuide does not control those systems.

Local storage

Device storage is used only to keep recent plans you explicitly save. PortdayGuide currently does not offer cross-device synchronization.
