Acceptance

By accessing or using PortdayGuide, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or rely on a generated plan. These terms apply to the website, cruise-port guides, planning tools, shared-plan pages, live excursion displays, and other content made available through PortdayGuide.

Planning aid only

PortdayGuide provides general itinerary-planning information. It is not a cruise line, travel agency, tour operator, transportation provider, accessibility certifier, weather service, insurance provider, medical service, emergency service, or safety guarantee. The site does not replace current instructions from the cruise line, port, local authority, attraction, transport provider, booking platform, or tour operator.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for confirming official ship times, berth, tender procedures, pickup location, provider credentials, prices, availability, accessibility, insurance, cancellation rules, travel documents, local conditions, weather, and return transportation before acting on a plan. You must decide whether an activity is appropriate for every traveler in the party.

All-aboard and return timing

Generated buffers and transfer times are assumptions for organizing a day, not live predictions or promises. Arrival can be delayed, a tender can take longer, traffic can change, and port access can be interrupted. Use official local all-aboard time, leave additional margin when conditions are uncertain, and follow any earlier return instruction issued by the cruise line or operator.

Information changes

Port operations, terminal assignments, fares, schedules, opening hours, road access, local rules, and travel information can change without notice. An “Updated” or “Reviewed” date does not guarantee that every operational detail remains current. Do not rely on PortdayGuide as the only source for a time-sensitive or safety-critical decision.

Weather forecasts

Near-term forecasts may be supplied by MET Norway and may change, be delayed, or be unavailable. Weather summaries are planning signals, not marine warnings, medical advice, evacuation instructions, or operating guarantees. Recheck cruise-line, operator, port, and local authority information before leaving the ship or starting a weather-sensitive activity.

Third-party services

External tours, maps, photo sources, transport services, attractions, and booking platforms operate under their own terms and policies. PortdayGuide does not control their content, availability, safety practices, performance, cancellations, injuries, delays, losses, refunds, accessibility, or customer service. A link or recommendation does not create a partnership, agency relationship, or guarantee.

Affiliate links and purchases

PortdayGuide may receive a commission from an eligible booking made after an affiliate link is used. PortdayGuide does not collect payment for those products, become the seller, or take responsibility for fulfillment. Review the external platform’s price, pricing unit, inclusions, exclusions, cancellation terms, meeting point, and return arrangement before purchasing.

Saved and shared plans

Plans saved in the browser are device-local and may be lost if browser storage is cleared or unavailable. A shared-plan link contains the values needed to reconstruct the plan and can be viewed by anyone with the complete link. PortdayGuide does not promise permanent storage, password protection, expiration, or recovery of saved or shared plans.

Permitted use

You may use the site for personal travel research and planning. Do not interfere with the site, probe for unauthorized access, submit malicious code, misuse an API, scrape at a level that disrupts service, impersonate another person, or use the site to violate applicable law or the rights of others. Automated access should respect published crawler instructions and reasonable request rates.

Content and third-party rights

PortdayGuide’s original text, structure, and branding are provided for use through the site. Photographs, maps, product information, trademarks, and linked materials may belong to third parties and remain subject to their licenses and terms. A visible source or license link must be followed before reusing third-party material.

No warranty

The site is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, PortdayGuide makes no promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, complete, current, suitable for a particular traveler, or available in every location. A planning result is informational and requires independent verification.

Limits of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, PortdayGuide is not responsible for losses arising from missed ships, changed itineraries, transport failures, weather, injury, illness, inaccessible facilities, third-party conduct, lost bookings, or decisions made without current verification. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to the service or terms

Features, supported ports, integrations, and these terms may change as the site develops. The date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means the current terms apply to that use.
